For the nurses who work the holidays
Hospitals do not close for Christmas, and a lot of nurses spend the holidays charting instead of opening presents. "Nursing Through the Holidays" is a little celebration they can bring to the break room, or wear to the family dinner they finally get to after their shift.
It also makes an easy gift from a family member, a coworker or a charge nurse saying thank you to the team.
Questions people ask
Can nurses wear Christmas shirts to work?
It depends on the facility. Many allow festive shirts under scrubs or on spirit days, while others require scrubs only. Check your unit's dress code.
What is a good Christmas gift for a nurse?
Something that says you see the hours they work. A nurse shirt for their days off, or a holiday nurse tee for the break room, is a thoughtful pick.
Do you have nurse shirts for other holidays?
Yes. "Thankful, Grateful, Caffeinated Nurse" is for Thanksgiving, and "Nurse Mode: Caffeinated and Ready" works all year.
